Cindy Guthrie

Cindy is an artist, nature photographer, graphic designer, author, clinical herbalist and chemist-by-trade based in central Alabama. She focuses on capturing the beauty of nature in everyday moments. She traces her passion for herbal medicine to the spirit of her Cherokee great-grandmother who served her family and rural Alabama community as a healer over a hundred years ago. While she works in many mediums, she prefers soft pastels and colored pencils and strives to capture the light of life in her subject at the moment.
