Letter from the President of SRTAG

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Weeya M. Calif, and I have the honor of serving as the President of the State-Recognized Tribal Artist Guild (SRTAG). At SRTAG, we are deeply committed to supporting state-recognized tribes through advocacy, resources, and a focus on uplifting Indigenous artists and preserving our shared cultural heritage.
Today, I am reaching out with a heartfelt invitation to explore a partnership that I believe could bring meaningful benefits to both of our organizations and the communities we serve.
We propose a non-binding handshake agreement centered on mutual collaboration and shared support. This partnership would involve featuring your logo and a link to your website’s resources on the SRTAG website, highlighting your contributions and enabling our members to access your valuable initiatives. In return, we would be honored if you could extend the same courtesy by featuring SRTAG on your platform. Additionally, we would be grateful to be included in any mailing lists you maintain, enabling us to stay informed and share relevant opportunities with our membership.
We believe that through collaboration, we can amplify our collective impact, strengthening our ability to serve Indigenous communities and advance our shared goals. I am confident this partnership will be a step toward building a brighter and more empowered future for the communities we represent.
Please let us know if this initiative resonates with your organization’s mission. We are happy to provide any additional information or address questions to make this collaboration possible.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to join hands and make a difference. I look forward to the possibility of working together.
Warm regards,
Weeya M. Calif
